- Due to the lack of sleep on our overnight flight, my husband and I were exhausted by the time we got to Reykjavik. After storing our luggage away with the staff, my husband ended up passing out on a sofa in the reception area of Sunna Guesthouse despite it being 10am... We really appreciated how nice and understanding the staff was about the situation, letting us stay there to recuperate until our room was ready.
- We got a basic double bedroom with a shared bathroom and I thought it was a really good price. The room was nice and clean and they provided us with towels for showering and some hand towels by the sink in our room. The shared bathroom was equally nice and clean. Every day, staff would come in and re-make our bed/replaced our towels. I did not expect this since it seemed like a hostel type of place, but I definitely appreciated it.
- Bus Stop #8 was a block or two away right by Hallgrimskirkja, so the location was very convenient for traveling purposes. The hot water smells like eggs, but I've heard that was a thing.

The hotel is bare minimum, but very comfortable and clean. I had unknowlingly booked a room with a shared bathroom but quickly remedied that upon realizing it. I am glad we did. It appeared several rooms shared one bathroom with one toilet.
Reasonable priced great location breakfast was average European service is good. Some rooms are like a hostel with shared showers and bathrooms. My room had a private bathroom good-sized room and daily maid service
Big room, refridgerator, enough space for drying wet clothes from hiking, good beds, clean, quiet, central, nice bathroom, no elevator, got parking outside every time. Will come back next time. Late check in was very easy. Cosy to hear bells from the church (quiet at night).
